Shift completed a project for the launch of an all-natural chokeberry juice produced by a small family-owned company from the Herzegovina region. In our work on this venture, our team were able to use many of the skills they had already developed from our work with other wine producer clients. The client wanted the branding to convey the label design of the wine, alongside careful selection of the materials for the label itself. The quality of the product is very high, so attention to detail and a classic style were required to reflect the organic origin of the product which originates from a plantation located on the southern slopes of the Prenj Mountain. Firstly, the client wanted the packaging design to be sophisticated and to appeal to consumers who seek natural and minimally processed foods. Secondly, the client wanted an unusual label, which is both simple and also allows the interested customers to easily find their desired information. As a result, our label design solution was intentionally minimalist. We were inspired by the prevailing aesthetics ever-present within the winemaker market, but also tried to convey sophistication through the use of a square dark glass bottle and a label placed on the corner of the bottle. The result is a clean and modern finish which clearly communicates the product’s benefits. The project also included the logo design for the company Bio aronija Sakić. The logo design is simple, and it can be interpreted in two ways. Firstly, it represents two chokeberries while secondly representing the brand initial letters “b” and “a”. We developed a design that is suitable for the company plan to expand their product line in the future.
