Branding of coffee, therefore, has become a real challenge, needing to appeal to and satisfy the large market of good coffee lovers. Our concept of developing and designing a new brand and packaging for Dolce Caffe was aimed at creating a design that will attract the attention of the modern and stylish customer. Since the exterior of the product is not merely packaging but the guarantee of the quality of the product, its design has to be commercially inspired to appeal to the desired target market. The packaging design for Dolce Caffe instant products is based on a blue color, as opposed to their competitors' preference for brown tones in product design. The combination of design, colors and materials encourages ease of brand recognition and identification. The design is in keeping with current market trends, and personality is pointed out with the orange cup of coffee. Products are defined with a secondary color scale for every taste/category of the product (red = 3in1 Classic; green = 3 in 1 Strong; blue = 2 in 1).
