The story about the wines Bagur is based on a great historical tradition that generations of familiy Krešić  transmitt. It all started centuries ago in a small coast town named Neum. In the middle age Neum was a part of the Dubrovnik Republic, until it was handed to the Turks as a corridor - enclave, as a port for the needs of ships and supplying of military units in the hinterland and also because of political and trade tensions with the Venetians. The name Bagur stands as a nickname for the families great-grandfather,  who courageously stood up against one Ottoman soldier, and killed him in the duel. The spell of this winery lies in the vineyards unique position, that toppling towards the sea gave wines of exceptional quality. The most important wine sort of the brand is Plavac mali, and except a dozen fruit brandies unavoidable is the Rose. The label design of te wine is a combination of emotion from the brand name, and illustrations of the vineyards unique position. The emphasis is on simplicity and recognizably , but primarly on the content of the bottles.
