








Running in B&H is experiencing a real expansion in recent years, especially in terms of trail running which is becoming more and more popular. Although trail running in Herzegovina has still not reached the highest level, many beautiful mountains have the potential to be utilised for the further development of this sport. ‘HPD Prenj 1933’ from Mostar and ‘Visit Blidinje’ organized the first ultra-trail race on Čvrsnica this year. The project also involved hiking associations as well as the mountain rescue services from nearby towns in the vicinity of the Čvrsnica region and the Blidinje Nature Park. For the needs of the organization and for the promotion of the ultra-trail race at Čvrsnica, we created a visual identity for the race. This comprised of the logo design and the accompanying billboard campaign, as well as the design of all promotional and accompanying materials used for that event. Rough and improperly positioned typography indicates the difficulty and condition of the track itself and the style of running that is significantly different from the standard. The typographical intervention, such as the eagle instead of the accent on the letter Č, and the bear who walks with an incline on the letter T besides a lake silhouetted by a mountain, together forms a picture of the natural wealth and variety of the animal and plant world.
