Croatian Post Ltd. Mostar it in honor issued a commemorative heart-shape postage stamp with a rose scent in a sheet of 4 stamps, a maximum card (MC), postmark and First Day Cover (FDC).
In order of claiming authenticity of the Appearances, the Holy See in 2010 established an International Committee composed of around twenty cardinals, bishops, theologians and other experts that in detail will examine the reports of the Appearances of the Virgin Mary in Međugorje. After four years of work that was closed to the public, in January 2014, the committee finished with their work and handed the results over to the Congregation for religion doctrine that will consider and draw up a proposition to Pope Francis, who will be giving the final decision. Regardless of the decision that the Pope brings, it could surely be said that Međugorje has been confirmed in the Church by the fruits of faith and conversions and that is something nobody could deny.
The nominal value of the stamp is 1 BAM. Circulation of 160,000 pieces, printed at Zrinski Čakovec, on white 102 g, adhesive paper with comb perforation 14, size: 48,28 x 40,53 mm.
