







Rujan kamen is a family owned company which specializes in the mining and processing of natural stones. Over the course of their thirty years of operation, the visual identity of this established business had become outdated. SBD was approached by the client with a request for rebranding. The main goal of this project was to strengthen the relevance of the brand with a modern visual identity which would serve to further improve the market position of the company. This is also one step in the process of the protection of the origins of Rujan stone which is already recognized as a high-quality brand among investors in the region. In general, design adds the most value when it relies on a clear understanding of both the needs of the business and its customers. Rujan stone is classified as marble. The colour and structure of this stone is notably multi functional and can be used in different surroundings and for various purposes including; floor panels, facade cladding, stone sills, stone pillars and various other applications. That is why the new identity needed to appeal to a diverse audience: industrial and building companies - who buy enormous quantities of the product to decorate hotels, businesses, malls and other luxury locations - and individual buyers who purchase the stone for house building and renovation. The final result of this project is a functional logo design that truly reflects the company’s nature and character. The customized shape of the letters R and K are robust and perfectly frame the logo. The brand color was changed to PANTONE 11C - which is a warm greyish brown.
