Identity and Promotional Campaign Design for the Annual Advent Festival in Mostar


Developing a strong brand for an event is absolutely critical to building visibility and credibility, and that is exactly how the “Advent in Mostar” event has become recognizable. The holiday atmosphere, the smell of festive delicacies, live music, and the smiling faces of the visitors enrich the Advent season in our city every year. This year's event will last until 9 January 2022. It will offer varied and interesting programs for all generations.
Our agency has designed the visual identity and promotional campaign for the event. The branding features a bold and festive typography that suggests a Christmas atmosphere - people coming together to celebrate the happiest time of the year. The feeling of joy spreads throughout the campaign visuals that capture authentic motifs of the City of Mostar and joyful family moments, as it is applied across the complete entertainment program of the event including posters for plays and concerts, signage and banners, and advertising through print and digital media. The common graphic elements create a strong link between various plays and performances of the event's stage program and also a clear link with the main manifestation’s identity.
To the especial delight of the youngest, there is already a traditional skating rink and ice fun in the City Park and besides rich gastronomic offer and colourful handicrafts at the cottages along the entire promenade, the live stage, with its entertainment program will start on December the 15th with over 50 performers which will further enliven the Christmas atmosphere in Mostar.
