We conceived the design of the annual report for United World College in Mostar for 2015 in a way that all the information, including texts, tables and photos, are interwoven in an original and clear way. We integrated various disciplines and techniques such as graphics so we could create a clear and direct organization document as a medium for visual communication. This annual report has an eye-catching relationship between structure in the form of designer-made illustration and documentary photography. The concept of the report focuses on the decorative elements that are derived from a segment of the facade of the well-known Austro-Hungarian building "Old High School" in which the College is located. That decorative segment is used as the pattern in various situations within the report design, in interaction with other parts – primarily photography, both professional as well as amateur photographs of students and topics relating to the work of United World College. A fresh and relaxed approach to the composition of the elements governs the layout of information for this publication. Conceptual illustration in the form of pattern is especially noticeable with documentary photography directly interacting. The information is accessible, despite its dynamic layout, because each type of information was located differently. The organizational method of the grid is very dynamic because the informational requirements of the publication are not too demanding or strict. The result is an interesting design with a feel of motion, and the interesting illustration diagonals provide a feeling of sequence and connection throughout the whole book.
