We designed the anniversary logo, which is derived from the existing visual identity of the Theater, where segments of numbers 2 and 5 are highlighted (or slotted in the case of the cover of the publication) to resemble comedy and tragedy masks. Bringing together two logos, both with significant meaning and emotion, was a major challenge and consideration.
The Official History of the Croatian Theater in Mostar is an authoritative and comprehensive review of all performances/plays to have taken place since its establishment. Packed with stunning photography and unique official documents, the book brings a wealth of processed and edited data and content about the theater, but also testifies to the social and political context of the establishment and the entire operation of the Croatian National Theater Mostar. Today, despite the many problems it has encountered in the past 25 years, the Mostar National Theater is a theater that understands and follows contemporary aesthetic expression.
The organization of images and text for this publication is optical and intuitive, based primarily on a desire to form connections between the image and text content. The cover design features a die-cut 25 anniversary logo which accentuates the corporative color - when the page is turned. Simple and clean design, with a bilingual layout, puts the emphasis on the photos that speak about Theater work over the past 25 years.
