The visual identity design of a company requires an initial understanding of their nature of business. Our client, Ecos Ltd. from Vitez, is a recognizable name in the range of materials for central heating, bathroom equipment, ceramic tiles and plumbing.
In their wide range of products, virtually every well-known brand of heating and plumbing supplies is on offer including the top quality flexible tubes sold since the foundation of their business. With the twin focus of giving increased attention to the needs of their customer base and to mark the 20th anniversary of the business, management decided to create a new visual identity. This visual identity has been developed to present the company Ecos and the key features of business in a contemporary, modern fashion.
Within the logo design, emphasis is placed on the letter 'o', which is raised and located next to the letter "C" to create a reminder of the Celsius temperature degree symbol. This is accompanied by the slogan "A level above" which provides a correlation with the main aspects of the company’s business, that is contemporary heating systems. A new colour palette has been introduced to refresh the company’s identity and to emphasize the company as a responsible business, as well as their orientation towards the sale of modern heating systems. Besides this, it refers to the innovative use of technology in terms of environmental awareness and energy efficiency. The new visual identity has created a step forward for the goals of the company in terms of complete customer trust and accentuated product quality.
