Chick King is a new fast food brand, primarily, but not exclusively focused on the target group of children and youth. Founded in Tuzla, with tendency for regional expansion, the brand needed a rebranding, wich would distance it of the competition. With stringent competition moving in, Chick King needed to create an image that reflects its truly unique offering. The image needed to represent the brand’s core activity; fast-food restaurant (mostly) chicken meat. SBD’s challenge was to create a logo to bring its quality to the level of a brand that could easily be recognized and remembered. With the logo set, SBD was tasked with creating unique touch points that stand on their own while adding to the overall brand identity. By guiding the client through our proprietary branding process, we were able to develop the restaurant concept and brand position for Chick King. The results of our work left us with a vibe of fun, campy and bright. We created the logo, the graphic standards manual and all promotional materials. Our graphic solution is based on colors and iconography that are traditionally tied to this market segment and food industry. Verbal and visual elements are combined in a playful way, with modern elements that guarantee genuine access to communication.
